Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation, Tyneside Foodservice is taking every practicable step to mitigate any risk. We are checking government advice on a daily basis and making necessary amendments to our working practices. We have contingency plans in place to ensure continuity of service.
We have taken proactive measures, including providing hand sanitisers and antibacterial handwash at strategic locations in our sites, as well as providing our colleagues with information on Coronavirus. We have also issued and posted colleague information reinforcing the medical advice for everyone to take personal responsibility for personal hygiene. We have cancelled all non-essential visits to our site and will only allow emergency contractors.
We are also assessing our stock levels on a daily basis to ensure maximum availability to all our customers and are building in extra resilience if necessary.
